Basement Sports Adds Hockey to the Basement Sports App

NHL legend Wayne Gretzky once famously remarked, “A good hockey player plays where the puck is. A great hockey player plays where the puck is going to be.”

The introduction of Hockey to the Basement Sports app is an embodiment of Wayne’s philosophy. Our team recognized the need to remain agile, broadening our sports offerings in step with the growth of the Basement Sports community. In other words, we sought to anticipate where the puck was going to be, and now–one intensely productive development sprint later–Hockey has joined with Soccer and Baseball to complement our app’s sports selection.

Basement Sports Hockey users have the option to play in Single Game, Series, or Tournament Mode. A choice of ambient soundscape facilitates players’ immersion in the game, while a networking feature facilitates social connection and engagement. Hockey enthusiasts can create their own teams, team icons, and player profiles.

The Basement Sports app is available on both the iOS and Android stores. It can be used on its own, or in combination with our 2-in-1 Starter Kit for Soccer and Hockey.

With Basketball and Football coming to the app in the near future, 2022 promises to be an exciting year for Basement Sports and our community.
